When it comes to optimizing fat loss for men over 40, the more active you are, the better your fat loss results will be… Within reason of course, don’t take this to extremes… I’m not suggesting that you go crazy and do hours of high intensity cardio per day. But simply increasing your overall activity level will go a long way.

Even simple things like going for a daily walk will help you to burn more calories and increase your metabolism. Bottom line, try to squeeze in extra cardio and physical activity anywhere that you can during the day.

My personal favorite form of cardio is simply going outside for a walk.
My wife and I often go for walks together and we take our son in the stroller. It’s a great way to get some exercise while spending quality family time together.

The great thing about walking is that works for both fat loss and active recovery. With your weight training routine you’ll be doing high intensity exercise, so adding in lower intensity cardio sessions (such as walking) can be a therapeutic form of exercise and mental relaxation. It allows you to increase your overall activity level without
over training and stressing your body.


Over the next several videos I’m going to highlight EXACTLY what I’m doing with regards to eating, exercise, and mindset as I work towards getting Fit Over 40.
